Concert debut as Erik in ‘Der fliegende Holländer’ in Germany

On May 18, Eric Cutler returns to the Baden-Baden Festspielhaus for their renowned Whitsun Festival, to debut as Erik in Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer, presented in concert. A thrilling introduction for audiences to Wagner’s operas, Der fliegende Holländer intertwines the Dutchman’s cursed fate with a young Senta’s unwavering devotion to save the seaman. Valery Gergiev will lead the Münchner Philharmoniker with an acclaimed cast including John Lundgren as the Dutchman, Elena Stikhina as Senta, Günther Groissböck as Daland, Okka von der Damerau as Mary, and Benjamin Bruns as the Helmsman.
